Είναι γεγονός πάντως οτι δε μπορώ να βρω καμία άλλη μπάντα που να γράφει σα τους Beatles. Δε ξέρω, νίωθω οτι κάθε ένα κομμάτι τους έχει κάτι το μονάδικο και ανεπανάληπτο γι αυτό και μου αρέσουν ΟΛΑ. Δεν έχω ιδέα πως έγραφαν ή αν τους βοηθούσαν τα ναρκωτικά αλλά νομίζω οτι όλα τους τα κομμάτια έχουν κάτι το εγκεφαλικό.

Και φώτοζ απο ένα βιβλίο που βγήκε πριν μερικά χρόνια και για μένα δείχνει τους beatles στην πιο ωραία εποχή τους, την εποχή της ινδίας. Μάλλον οι ωραιότερες φωτογραφίες των beatles

Lemmy: "[...] The Beatles was the most magical thing I've ever seen - this complete four-headed monster, each of them as good as the other. You could see then feeding on each other's energy, and you could see they were having fun. They'd swear at the crowd and when they'd make a mistake they'd crack up laughing - which bands didn't do at all back then. I could never believe the fucking harmonies, they were so good: three possible vocals - four with Ringo, but Ringo wasn't with them then. This was 1961 or '62, before their first single had come out. John would always do the low harmony, which was very rarely done in those days, only by American vocal groups.
Harrison used to sing quite a bit then, McCartney did all the Little Richard stuff, and John took lead vocals on the Motown stuff. They had that thing going that you very rarely get, that they just knew what the other one was going to do. They can't hear a thing they're singing - there were no monitors in those days, and all that screaming, but the harmonies were perfect.
There are thousands of songs I could pick: In My Life - wonderful song, with the double-speed harpsichord in the middle; We Can Work It Out - I love the church organ and how it comes in one note late; I Saw Her Standing There - just joyous, like hearing Little Richard when he first came out. But I'm going to pick Hold Me Tight, from the second album. If I listen to it now it does the same to me as it always did: it sends a shiver up my spine."

Προψές βράδυ κάτι Ιταλέζοι φίλοι είχαν πιάσει συζήτηση για την εξέλιξη του Strawberry Fields Forever μέσα από ένα βιντεάκι που την παρουσιάζει. 25 λεπτά αλλά αξίζει και με το παραπάνω..
