Get ready for the rollercoaster of insanity of your life. This could actually be a tagline for a horror movie. I prefer to use it in order to describe Utmost Contempt first demo. Oh my god! I have listened a lot of demos the last few years and very few has managed to impress me that much. It's amazing to discover a band that has already achieved perfection from an early stage.

I had a good feeling about this demo. Not often I get my hands on a demo having as a front cover a painting of Salvador Dali (!!!). Are these guys intellect or what? The whole package was nicely completed with the lyrics and generally a nicely set artwork. Let's see the music.

Utmost Contempt is a mixture of everything (almost, no Hi-5 in here.). Behind the growling vocals (what an interesting choice!) the band unleashes technical progressive metal, the kind I call "spastic". Behind endless synchronizations three lengthy compositions require your full attention in order not to loose "the ball form your hands". Imagine Nevermore Jamming alongside Watchtower! The material I hold in my hands sends the band right outside the door of a major record company. Really, "Stranger Skies Inside" is a fascinating demo and if the band is interested to keep going on they would definitely get a record deal with ease. All the fans of the genre will discover a new obsession listening this demo.
