Ο Αλκίνοος είναι εξαιρετικός. Ειδικά το τελευταίο του, ο Προσκυνητής ήταν τόσο καλό που ολοκληρώθηκε η "άνοδος" του Ιωαννίδη στα μάτια μου... όταν τον είχα πρωτοακούσει τον αντιμετώπισα με μεγάλη απέχθεια (ίσως βέβαια και νά'φταιγε που ήμουνα μικρό και άμουσο), όμως χρόνο με το χρόνο η άποψή μου άλλαξε άρδην. Την τελευταία φορά που τον είχα παρακολουθήσει ζωντανά (πριν κάνα-δυο χρόνια νομίζω) θαύμασα και τους πολύ καλούς μουσικούς που τον πλαισιώνουν και αβαντάρουν πολύ το τελικό αποτέλεσμα.
Πάντως δεν θα τον χαρακτήριζα ως τον σημαντικότερο καλλιτέχνη της Ελλάδος just yet, ο Θανάσης Παπακωνσταντίνου πλησιάζει σε αυτόν τον χαρακτηρισμό, για μένα, λίγο περισσότερο.
