Exile on Mainstream Sign Place of Skulls...
From Exile on Mainstream:
It is with great pleasure for us to announce an upcoming relationship with a band that always has been high on our wishlist:
Place of Skulls!
If you talk doom nowadays, even if you talk metal legacy in general, if you talk honest beliefs in the power of musical underground - then you talk Victor Griffin and certainly your mantra shall be Place of Skulls. Honest, deep and warm conclusions of true beliefs in music, well matured in Tennessee`s salty brise, Place Of Skulls deliver the finest blend you can get out of different ingredients: Deep rooted in doom tradition, the legendary Pentagram - and Death Row - guitarist takes his skills onto the next level and enlightens the cold winter with positive feelings, nailed in stone, created with vision. His team still includes the mighty Dennis Cornelius of Revelation and OverSoul fame and extraordinnaire drummer Tim Tomaselli.
Place of Skulls are currently working on a new album to be recorded throughout this summer and cut to plastic by early 2006. The release will be available worldwide on Exile on Mainstream. Touring plans include a European tour in early 2006. So watch out. We are stoked.
