    Μια φορά κι ένα καιρό (λίγο αφού κατέβηκαν οι άνθρωποι απ'τα δέντρα), στο αλφάβητο υπήρχαν μόνο οι κεφαλαίοι χαρακτήρες. Μέχρι που ο άνθρωπος συνειδητοποίησε τα προβλήματα που το γεγονός αυτό δημιουργούσε και προσέθεσε τα μικρά γράμματα.

    Τα κείμενα σε κεφαλαία είναι πολύ πιο δυσανάγνωστα, όχι μόνο απ'την έλλειψη προφανούς διαχωρισμού των προτάσεων, αλλά επειδή τα κεφαλαία γράμματα έχουν περισσότερες ομοιότητες μεταξύ τους. Ε, είναι και πιο "πεζό", αφού έχουν το ίδιο ύψος, κ.λπ.
