Final Fantasy: Advent Children Release Date

According to www.1up.com, Final Fantasy: Advent Children will be released on March 14th, which is ten days before the North American launch of the Sony PSP. We will also announce which retailer will be releasing the movie when the information becomes available.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children dated


Square Enix's DVD based on the hit PlayStation game will be available in Japan on September 14.

TOKYO--In the latest update of the official Web site for the movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Square Enix designer Tetsuya Nomura revealed that the movie will be released in Japan on September 14 and that it will retail for 4,800 yen ($45).

Nomura also intimated that a special edition of the film will be available as well, though he didn't elaborate.

Since Square Enix hasn't officially announced a PSP-compatible universal media disc release of Advent Children, it's believed that the September 14 release date is for the DVD version only.

Nomura commented that Advent Children is now 95 percent complete.

Nomura also revealed that the first overseas voice-acting sessions for Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts II (for localized versions) will be starting soon. Nomura added that the overseas casts for the two titles have yet to be finalized.

Final Fantasy movie: US release dated


Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children DVD will come to both America and Japan on September 14.
According to the latest issue of Shonen Jump magazine, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, a computer-animated movie that takes place in the world of Final Fantasy VII, will be hitting stores in both America and Japan on September 14.

The magazine announced that Advent Children will be released on DVD and made no mention of a PSP-friendly Universal Media Disc (UMD) format. A limited-edition package will be arriving on the same date. Details on what bonuses it will include haven't been disclosed yet. In Japan, the normal edition DVD will be priced at 4,800 yen ($45).
