Spell Resistance: Didn't I already tell you you're helpless?

The subject of this spell is affected by a terrible curse: boredom. As a result, upon completion of the spell, the target remains idle and does nothing each turn. Wether Orcs are charging against him or a Great Ugly Red Wyrm is about to char his sorry face to ashes, makes no difference to the victim. The caster, on the other hand, is free to feel the life energy run through his veins as he is now, no doubt, stronger than the helpless, bored target. Unless, of course, he himself is bored by natural causes. Then they will both be a very sorry couple to hang out with. But they don't care. They are bored. Yawn!...

Fortunately for us, there exists a counterspell:

This is the exact opposite of the Bestow Curse(boredom) spell, and they are dispelled when affecting the same subject. Unfortunately the spell's range is personal, that being the reason for which wizards are generally considered a drag: they are moody whenever
everyone else is bored.

This spell has two simultaneous effects. First, the caster is teleported as if by a dimension door spell and second a crater opens beneath his feet launching a storm of burning blades. At the end of the round the blades reach the ground and anyone in the area of effect must save vs spell or get hit by a burning blade, suffering 1d6 piercing, 3d6 fire damage suffered at the next round as well. The material component is a dagger whose blade is forged of sulphur and red dragon’s blood. If cast indoors there is good chance that the building will be destroyed.
