X-13 began in 1998 with an idea of combining old fashioned Theater and Rock & Roll into one entity. This organizational entity would be different than any thing in the world. During this time Johnny Osborn, fresh of a world tour with members of the world famous 'SAVATAGE', began writing a story that combined a fresh new style of radio friendly Rock & Roll music. Originally these songs were tracks beginning with a narrator, telling the story before each song would play. Each Narraration was done by characters from the story (The Hero, Fortune Teller, Genie, Etc..) The narrarations were mixed directly into the beginning of these songs, for each song to play out. During the writing process, Erik Baker (A well recognized promoter from South Florida) became heavily interested. Eventually this led to his involvement in the story development and recording for the original Full Length recording. The recording was produced with Jon Oliva (founding member of 'Savatage', 'Trans Siberian Orchestra' and 'The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Soundtrack'). Jon was also involved in portraying character voices for Warner Brothers. He would serve as our narrator and characters. This original recording was a success!

In efforts to take the project to the next level meetings were set to present X-13 to the Award winning McBride Design Company. McBride currently develops all modern ideas. Such as Museams, Theatres, Malls, Restraunts and Projects. The Band then began building it’s relationship with The McBride Co. to develop the X-13 idea to it's fullest potential.

After countless meetings with McBride, and planning for X-13, Alex Okun (Award Winning Theatre and Stage Set Designer) was added to help with the theatrical view. This story was designed to be played out on stage. A new and special type of 'Rock & Roll Opera', for the first time incorporating actors into a concert setting. Thus, a Rock & Roll concert/opera was born. Using the ideas of a comic book theory, with a theatrical back ground, the X-13 idea was complete. A Rock & Roll CD with a Comic Book Story and a Theatrical Show.

The team immediately went to work on perfecting the story, the music and the idea. Studio time was booked in Hollywood for polishing the recording. Using the heavily influential 'Mudrock'(engineer mastermind for Godsmack, Alice Cooper, Sevendust, Powerman 5000, Trik Turner, UnLoco, Pillar, Etc...) to complete the final mix of the album, the record was finished.

Along the way, videos of the songs 'Let's Go Crazy' and 'Break The Wheel' were shot and then completed. The videos, the story & studio footage of the entire sessions were filmed and are waiting for you to see with our debut release 'VISIONS'. Coming in 2004.......
