Δίσκος της χρονιάς, αν όχι της δεκαετίας.
Οι Sabbath Assembly είναι ένα πρότζεκτ της Jex Thoth και του Dave Nuss. Το άλμπουμ είναι ουσιαστικα διασκευές ύμνων της αίρεσης The Process Church of the Final Judgment που δραστηριοποιήθηκε στα 60ς και 70ς και κύρηττε τη λατρεία του Χριστού όσο και Του Σατανά. Το όλο κόνσεπτ ήταν πως κατα την Τελική Κρίση, Χριστος και Σατανάς γίνονται φιλαράκια. Ο πρώτος κρίνει, κι ο δεύτερος εκτελεί τις όποιες ποινές. Με άλλα λόγια καλό και κακό πάνε χεράκι-χεράκι ως αναπόσπαστα κομμάτια του Εγώ.

Όλα ξεκίνησαν με την έκδοση του βιβλίου "LOVE SEX FEAR DEATH: The Inside Story of The Process Church of the Final Judgment", γραμμένου απο πρώην μέλη της αίρεσης (Timothy Wyllie, Adam Parfrey). Το βιβλίο, μεταξύ άλλων, περιέχει τους στίχους και κάποιους βασικούς μουσικούς σκελετούς 90 ύμνων. Με βάση αυτούς, οι Thoth και Nuss έγραψαν τα παραπάνω αριστουργήματα. Μουσικά ο δίσκος κινείται σε dark folk/gospel/ψυχεδελικα 60ς/70ς μονοπάτια, όπως του αρμόζει. Sabbath Assembly has re-charged the original hymns of The Process Church and worked them into moving renditions that unite the trinity of rock, psychedelic, and gospel into one triumphant re-awakening.
The Process Church was an intensely creative, apocalyptic shadow side to the flower-powered ‘60s and New Age ‘70s. The influential group opened chapters in London, Europe, and across the United States. Dressing in black cloaks and walking the streets with German shepherds, they created their own intricately designed magazines, and promoted a controversial, quasi-Gnostic theology that reconciled Christ and Satan through deeper awareness and love.
