BIOGRAPHY
With METAL having come full circle back to many of its classic influences, DARKOLOGY is certainly an act that is not only vital in today’s global heavy music scene but also an unstoppable force that will take it forward! The band was conceived in 2004 by the Harris brothers, Michael (THOUGHT CHAMBER, ARCH RIVAL, Vitallij Kurpij) & Brian (ex-FIREWIND), who soon hooked up with Michael's high school friend and band mate, bassist Mike Neal. After demoing their debut disc "Altered Reflections", the 3 members joined forces with vocal powerhouse Kelly Sundown Carpenter, the amazing vocalist behind the OUTWORLD debut and the one who succeeded the mighty JORN LANDE of AVANTASIA and many others fame, in BEYOND TWILIGHT and recorded his incredible vocals in late 2007. After taking some time off, and mixing the album, while also having a cool video clip shot for the song “I bleed”, the band shopped the album around and Rock-a-holics Records managed to secure the rights for it’s worldwide distribution!!!
We’re not saying much else – we just feel that we’ve got one of the best albums for 2009 in our hands!
