Η συναυλιάρα των DT ήταν στο Woodstock τον Γενάρη του '01. Αξέχαστος Mikael καυλωμένος μες στον κόσμο να ψάχνει το μικρόφωνο και Haunted με φρέσκο Made Me do It και βρωμερό starακι στη σκηνή. Τι γαμάτες μέρες...

Προσπαθώ να καταλάβω γιατί μιλάμε για DT αλλά εντάξει, απανωτές σφαλιάρες το The Gallery τότε. Μεγάλη αγάπη από κει και μετά το Projector, δε ξέρω γιατί αλλά αυτόν τον δίσκο τον καραγούσταρα.

Sumac is a new band that needs almost no introduction as its lineup does the talking; the group's core consists of guitarist Aaron Turner (Isis, Old Man Gloom, Mamiffer) and drummer Nick Yacyshyn (Baptists), with bassist Brian Cook (Russian Circles, Botch, These Arms Are Snakes) in place for studio and some live performances. Having recently formed, Sumac is excited to announce its debut album, The Deal, which will be available on February 3rd from Profound Lore Records on CD and Digital formats and via SIGE on vinyl.

Just before Christmas, Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson visited his doctor for a routine check-up. This led to tests and biopsies which revealed a small cancerous tumour at the back of his tongue. A seven week course of chemotherapy and radiology treatment was completed yesterday. As the tumour was caught in the early stages, the prognosis thankfully is extremely good. Bruce’s medical team fully expect him to make a complete recovery with the all clear envisaged by late May. It will then take a further few months for Bruce to get back to full fitness. In the meantime we would ask for your patience, understanding and respect for Bruce and his family’s privacy until we update everyone by the end of May. Bruce is doing very well considering the circumstances and the whole team are very positive.

Οι Σουηδοί Sorcerer επιστρέφουν ύστερα από πολλάαα χρόνια με νέο δίσκο (ουσιαστικά ντεμπουτάρουν) στη Metal Blade! Οι φανατικοί κύκλοι φαίνονται λίγο μουδιασμένοι μέχρι στιγμής επειδή λείπει το "Hail to England" & "Epicus, Doomicus, Metallicus" συναίσθημα από τα κομμάτια που έχουν διαρρεύσει, παρόλα αυτά εμένα μου αρέσει αρκετά το πιο πιασάρικο υφάκι που προσπαθούν να παίξουν (σαν να έβγαζε ο Malmsteen απ' το συρτάρι επικές συνθέσεις που περίσσεψαν από τα sessions του "Marching Out" και τις χάριζε στους Grand Magus, ή κάτι τέτοιο...). Ο κιθαρίστας, εάν σας θυμίζει κάτι, είναι από την πολύχρονη θητεία του στους Therion (και ο τραγουδιστής έχει βοηθήσει σε ορισμένα live).

Beastmilk τέλος, welcome Grave Pleasures

Sadly, due to irreconcilable differences, we have parted ways with our co-founder, guitarist and friend Johan “goatspeed” Snell.
We ask you to understand that both sides did absolutely everything they could to make things work, but were unable to find a way to continue together. We all wish Johan the very best, but the show must go on.
Given theses circumstances Beastmilk will continue to forge ahead, but will assume the new identity of Grave Pleasures.
The band is on atomic fire, with a new album and new members in our ranks. We look forward to seeing you at all of the shows, where we will play your favourite Beastmilk tracks, alongside brand new material from the forthcoming album. We'll continue to update you here about all our new exciting plans. For now, here is the official statement from Beastmilk:


Beastmilk transforms into Grave Pleasures. New album in the works!

The Finnish band formerly known as Beastmilk, shall now go under the name of Grave Pleasures, following the departure of co-founding member Johan "goatspeed" Snell.

Given the circumstances Beastmilk will continue, but under the new guise of Grave Pleasures.
Along with the name change, new live/studio guitarist Juho Vanhanen (Oranssi Pazuzu) has joined the band, while guitarist Snell departs the ranks.

Juho V. is welcomed into Grave Pleasures by frontman Kvohst, bassist Arino and guitarist Linnea Olsson (The Oath, Sonic Ritual) who joined the band earlier in 2014.

The band can also reveal that they will be signing a major label deal and that they will go into the studio in May with producer Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Killing Joke ) with the album set for release in September, followed by a European tour.

Singer and Climax song-writer Mat "Kvohst" says of the name and lineup change “The lineup has never been stronger! We’re really excited to perform material from the forthcoming album and classic songs from Climax. The name might change, but the songs and the performance will be better than ever."

Ειχαμε δει κι εκεινη τη συναυλιαρα στο Gagarin, DT στο Damage Done, Entombed στο Morning Star και Candlemass πριν βγαλουν reunion δισκο να παιζουν μονο επη. 4μιση ωρες ανειπωτης καβλας.

Εντυπωσιάστηκα θετικά από τους εντουμπντ σε κεινο το λάιβ και σιχάθηκα άλλο ένα σχήμα του γκειτεμποργκ. Σε άλλα νέα δεν ήξερα ότι οι μπρεστμιλκ είχαν γκομενάκι. Ωραίο δισκάκι και το γκομενάκι. θα ακούσουμε.
