Κάποια πρώτα bugs που βλέπω:
- δεν εμφανίζονται, αν και έχουν περαστεί , τα smilies που μπορούμε να βάλουμε όταν ετοιμάζουμε πόστ
- δεν μπορούμε να ανεβάσουμε avatar
- σε κάθε μέλος μπορούμε να δούμε μόνο τα 500 τελευταία του πόστς

Απλό είναι, καλό και χρυσό το phpbb (ειδικά το 3) αλλά δε βολεύει το σκηνικό με τα mods. Για παράδειγμα, σκεφτόμουν να βάλω blogs (έρχονται btw), και στο phpbb έπρεπε να ψάξεις κάποιο mod που δεν ήξερες αν αύριο θα είχε υποστήριξη και αν θα ήταν συμβατό με την επόμενη έκδοση του phpbb. Ενώ στο vb υπάρχει integrated. Επίσης βρίσκεις καλύτερα themes, έχει περισσότερα features, οι περισσότεροι είναι πιο εξοικειωμένοι με αυτό καθώς τα μεγαλύτερα φόρουμ έχουν vb. Άλλη μια παράμετρος ήταν αυτή των διαφημίσεων που βάλαμε δοκιμαστικά (ειδικά αν χρειαστεί να πάμε σε κάτι ακριβότερο από πλευράς server είναι αναγκαίες, γιατί ήδη δίνω κανα κατοστάευρο το χρόνο, που παλεύεται, αλλά δεν μπορώ να δίνω 200 ή 300). Και στις διαφημίσεις τα ίδια ισχύουν, ενώ το vb έχει integrated google ads. Και γενικότερα, στο vb υπάρχουν πολύ περισσότερα ενδιαφέροντα πραγματάκια να προσθέσεις, ενώ έχεις να περιμένεις και περισσότερες βελτιώσεις και πιο σύντομα. Το phpbb μού άρεσε γιατί ήταν free software και (ως εκ τούτου) δωρεάν, αλλά για τους παραπάνω λόγους αποφάσισα να βάλω ΒΑΘΙΑ το χέρι στην τσέπη και να ψωνίσω vb. Νομίζω πως, όταν στηθεί όπως πρέπει, θα είναι καλύτερα από όλες τις απόψεις.

βασικά είναι ότι πιο άσχημο, άβολο και δυσλειτουργικό υπάρχει. κατανοώ τους λόγους της αλλαγής, αλλά ελπίζω να αλλάξετε γνώμη γρήγορα. τουλάχιστον να φτιαχτεί αυτό το view your posts, να μη χρειάζεται να κάνουμε search για να τα βρίσκουμε.
