Βασικά ντάξει, το Macross είναι ολόκληρο έπος (όλα τα Macross). Το Robotech είναι μια αμερικάνικη ένωση τριών anime. Super Dimensional Fortress Macross (The Macross Saga, η πρώτη season), Super Dimensional Fortress Cavalry Southern Cross (δεύτερη season), Mospeada The New Generation (τρίτη season). Αυτά τα τρία mecha anime ένωσαν οι φίλοι μας οι αμερικάνοι και δημιούργησαν την σειρά Robotech που αποτελλείται από 85 επισόδεια συνολικά. Από αυτά, η πρώτη είναι απλά τέλεια, επική, κλασσική και οι άλλες δύο είναι με δυο λόγια για τον πούτσο. Επίσης από Macross, κορυφή είναι το Macross Plus (το καλύτερo ιν μάϊ οπίνιον) και το σχετικά πρόσφατο Macross Zero. Και φυσικά μην ξεχνάμε την κλασσική movie του Macross II, "Do You Remember Love?".
