Δεν το'χω παίξει πάρα πολύ, ωστόσο φαίνεται καλό. Σίγουρα δεν έχει τα σεναριακά χάλια του πρώτου NWN και το σενάριο πασχίζει να μην φαίνεται γραμμικό (αλλά στην πραγματικότητα είναι). Δεν αγγίζει τα Baldur's Gate, ωστόσο είναι σχετικώς καλό και έχουν επιστρέψει πολλά στοιχεία του BG.
Το χειρότερο μειονέκτημα του, ωστόσο, είναι οι μάχες, κυρίως επειδή μπορείς να κάνεις rest έπειτα από κάθε μάχη. Το αποτέλεσμα είναι να χρησιμοποιώ Haste (= instawin OMG nerf bards) σε κάθε μάχη και να μην υπάρχει η πικοπερίπτωση να χάσω.
