Close friends with the Boredoms and Acid Mothers Temple, Afrirampo is a bizarre duo of two twenty year old girls who sing and play guitar and drums like no one else. Scantily clad in outrageous costumes, alternately kicking, screaming and caressing their instruments with an animalistic passion, this extreme and original band is the natural inheritor of the Boredoms legacy.

2003 Aug: U.S tour!! Many people fell love!!
2004 Jun: went to Cameroon to live with Pigmies.
2004 Aug: Toured with Lightning Bolt in US! Toured with Sonic Youth in Europe.
2004: first original album "A" released
2004 July: mini album "AFRIRAMPO" released from Gyuune Cassette
2005 Apr: full album "UR USA IN JAPAN" release from Kioon/sony, one more CD! from Tzadik (U.S)"A' " ( "A" for U.S & E.U ) release from Acid Mothers Temple's label AFRIRAMPO will also play at All Tomorrow's Parties in U.K!!
