Cowards die many times before their deaths;
The valiant never taste of death but once.
Of all the wonders that I yet have heard,
It seems to me most strange that men should fear;
Seeing that death, a necessary end,
Will come when it will come.
Shakespare

Here we go round the prickly pear
Prickly pear prickly pear
Here we go round the prickly pear
At five o’clock in the morning.
T. S. Eliot

Some scars do not elicit pity, but intimidate.
Some scars announce to everyone who see them...I beat death.
I stared death in the face and death blinked. Look at me. I beat death.
So what possible chance do you have of beating me ?

You may smile with your worldly wise wisdom at this
And say, "Why it's only a pin."
But I tell you no honors he'll gain as a man
Will mean just as much to him.

Where is your Knight
Where is your Lancer
Insist and defy
and right there
you lie

i call it gunfighter syndrome.
they'd see a large probably armed biker,
and they had to go up to them
and tell them exactly what they thought of them..
Or chuck a beer over them
Or slap their face..
I've seen all that and more
men boys women girls everyone
and not always drunk either
like moths to the flame
some people long to burn and crash
by being as stupid as is humanly possible

Και λες εμένα έγχρωμο;

Lord of this house!
Your cellar is full of golden wine!
Here, this lute I call my own!
Strumming on the lute and emptying glasses -
these are the things that go together.
A full glass of wine at the proper moment
is worth more than all the riches of the world!
Dark is life, dark is death.

I don't have people following me around, like bodyguards.
I don't know how people live like that.
Maybe the young movie stars have to live like that, I don't know.
But it seems a little crazy to me.
I don't think you need all that stuff.
We are dying from overthinking.
We are slowly killing ourselves by thinking about everything.
Think. Think. Think.
You can never trust the human mind anyway.
It's a death trap.

'My nerves are bad to-night. Yes, bad. Stay with me.
'Speak to me. Why do you never speak. Speak.
'What are you thinking of? What thinking? What?
'I never know what you are thinking. Think.'
